Operational Expertise
Future-ready fuels with today’s technology
Our Power-to-Liquids (PtL) technology delivers synthetic fuels that are ready for today’s aviation systems and built to meet tomorrow’s sustainability goals.

eSAF without limits
eSAF without limits

One of the great advantages of our eSAF solution is that it’s fully compatible with existing fuelling infrastructure and aircraft engine technology. In the same way, it’s essential that everything we do fits seamlessly into the wider aviation ecosystem. We’ll achieve this through our ‘collaborative scale-up’ model, in which we work with partners to drive continuous improvements in cost, efficiency and scalability – targeting fully commercialised production by 2030.

Fuelled by dedicated expertise
Executing with ambition and precision is our baseline. Our end-to-end project and asset development expertise allows us to establish state-of-the-art eSAF facilities around the world, drawing on decades of first-hand industry experience.

Supported by industry leaders
Through our shareholders, we have access to an extensive pool of resources and expertise. From flagship gas-to-liquids (G2L) projects to critical stages in mega-projects worldwide, their proprietary tech and in-depth know-how power our journey.

Engineered for global scalability
Scaling sustainable aviation fuel takes advanced technology, operational discipline and efficiency at every step. At Zaffra, our focus is on delivering more fuel with less energy, fewer resources and lower emissions – setting new benchmarks in carbon performance and cost competitiveness.
Our commercially proven Gas-to-Liquids (G2L) processes, built on the world-leading technologies of Sasol and Topsoe, are engineered for replication and rapid deployment worldwide.
By combining innovation with real-world execution, we transform complex projects into reliable production assets – accelerating the transition to low-carbon flight through solutions designed to perform, scale and deliver over the long term.

eSAF: Producing the lowest-emission fuels
Synthetic fuels are increasingly acknowledged as a credible route to decarbonise air travel. Since they are ‘drop-in’ alternatives, they don’t require infrastructure upgrades further down the supply chain. Using eSAF instead of fossil-based kerosene can reduce ‘well-to-wheel’ emissions by up to 100%.
The growing importance of eSAF is highlighted by the existing regulation. The already implemented ReFuelEU mandates a 35% share of eSAF in all EU airports from 2050. The first targets come into effect in 2030, so proactive preparation is key.
